Gold-Plated Rock Crystal Ring

This ring features Brazilian rock crystal and is size 16; the whole piece measures approximately 2 × 3 cm. A gold-plated band covers the front of the ring at the base of the crystals, while the crystal tips and the rest of the stone setting remain exposed. The small crystals form a long, low band that is noticeably wider than it is tall, with uneven, jagged edges. Their tiny, transparent tips jut up closely side by side. The setting is made of stone, so the size cannot be adjusted. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we will ship.

About the stone

The ancient Greeks believed that rock crystal was eternally frozen ice. However, this “ice” crystallizes at temperatures between 100 and 400°C, far from freezing conditions. Care

Remove the ring before washing your hands or bathing, and put it back on once your hands are dry. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will replate the ring. The plating can also be refreshed later at our studio — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
