Gold-Plated Rock Crystal Ring

This rock crystal ring from Brazil is size 12 and measures approximately 2 × 3 cm overall. A gold-plated band wraps around the front of the ring at the base of the crystals, leaving the crystal tips and the rest of the stone body exposed. The transparent crystals at the base transition to pure white. One larger crystal rises in the center, surrounded by a wreath of smaller ones. The body is made of stone, so the size cannot be adjusted. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we will ship.

About the stone

Light passes straight through rock crystal because it is transparent. It is the purest variety in the quartz family, and its crystals grow at temperatures between 100 and 400°C. Care

Remove the ring and set it aside before cleaning, gardening, or exercising. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing compounds. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will re-plate the ring. The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
