Green Agate Stone Ring

This ring made from Brazilian agate is size 21 and measures approximately 3 × 3 cm overall. The entire ring, including the band and rounded top, is carved from a single piece of stone and polished, with no metal. The agate is a deep, rich green. A diagonal light line runs across the top: on one side, the stone is smooth and dark; on the other, it is lighter with fine whitish stripes. Since the band is made of stone, the size cannot be adjusted. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we will ship.

About the stone

Agate’s pattern is formed by layers of chalcedony in different colors. They create bands and lines, and the pattern varies from stone to stone. The layers run concentrically, one inside another, and form in volcanic rocks. Learn more in the article Agate — properties and varieties on our blog.

Care

Apply creams and lotions before putting on the ring, and take it off before washing your hands. Keep jewelry away from alcohol, solvents, and prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight; a soft cloth lightly dampened with water is all you need to clean it. Take off the stone ring for sports, cleaning, and gardening. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
