Gold-Plated Blue Agate Ring

This Brazilian agate ring is size 21 and measures approximately 2.5 × 1.5 cm overall. The entire ring band is gold-plated, including the inside, leaving only the druzy on the front exposed. The crystals are very small and densely packed, creating a smooth, rectangular surface. The color is deep navy blue, and the tiny crystals sparkle like sparks in the light. The band is made of stone, so the size cannot be adjusted. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we will ship.

About the stone

Agate patterns form from layers of different colors. Agate is a type of chalcedony that grows concentrically in volcanic rocks, layer upon layer. The pattern that emerges is unique to each stone and cannot be recreated. Learn more in the article Agate — Properties and Varieties on our blog.

Care

Apply nail polish, makeup, and perfume before putting on the ring. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. Keep the jewelry away from alcohol, solvents, and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if your claim is accepted, we will re-plate the ring. The gold plating can also be refreshed later in our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and timeframe. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
