Gold-Plated Citrine Stud Earrings
Stud earrings with citrine from Brazil; each stone measures approximately 1 × 1 cm. Gold-plated brass surrounds the sides and back of each druzy, leaving the crystals at the front exposed. The citrine in this pair is coffee-brown, noticeably darker than the yellow tones typical of this stone, with lighter honey-colored highlights visible on the crystal tips. Both druzies are almost round and densely covered with tiny crystals. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will ship.

About the stone
Citrine forms in geodes and is a variety of quartz. Its color comes from trace amounts of iron in the crystal. Its typical shades range from honey to sunny yellow. Learn more in the article Citrine — Properties on our blog.
Care
Put on your citrine earrings after your cream and perfume have been absorbed, and take them off before sleeping or swimming. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing compounds. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is accepted, we will replate the earrings. The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
