Gold-Plated 925 Silver Earrings with Amber
This pair of earrings with English leverback clasps features two amber stones, each measuring approximately 1.5 × 1 cm. Each smoothly polished stone is set in a gold-plated 925 silver setting that holds it by the edge. Both stones are a deep, bottle green, with pale yellow-green flakes concentrated closer to the center of each oval. Toward the edges, the stones darken almost to black. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will ship.

About the stone
Amber is most often yellow to orange in color, while reddish amber is rare. Its clarity depends on gas bubbles trapped in the resin: the more bubbles there are, the cloudier the amber becomes. It is a very lightweight material, with a density of about 1.08 g/cm³, only slightly higher than that of water. Learn more in the article Amber — Properties on our blog.
Care
Fasten the clasps only after applying makeup and perfume, and remove the earrings before exercising or sleeping. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. Keep the jewelry away from alcohol, solvents, and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight; a soft cloth lightly dampened with water is all you need for cleaning. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if your claim is approved, we will replate the earrings. The plating can also be refreshed later in our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store the earrings in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
