Gold-Plated Rock Crystal Ring

This rock crystal ring from Brazil is size 20 and measures approximately 2 × 3 cm overall. A gold-plated band wraps around the front of the ring at the base of the crystals, leaving their tips and the rest of the stone body exposed. The top is formed by several large, clear, glass-like crystals arranged side by side. Reflections and the stone’s internal planes can be seen deep within the sides. As the ring’s body is made of stone, its size cannot be adjusted. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we will ship.

About the stone

In ancient Greece, people said that rock crystal was ice that never melted. This stone, however, forms at temperatures between 100 and 400°C, when the purest variety of quartz crystallizes. Care

When using hand cream or hand sanitizer, remove the ring and put it back on once your skin is dry. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. Clean the crystals with a soft, dry brush. The gold plating comes with a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will replate the ring. The gold plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
