  • 10 — 50 mm
  • 11 — 51 mm
  • 12 — 52 mm
  • 13 — 53 mm
  • 14 — 54 mm
  • 15 — 55 mm
  • 16 — 56 mm
  • 17 — 57 mm
  • 18 — 58 mm
  • 19 — 59 mm
  • 20 — 60 mm
  • 21 — 61 mm

How to measure? Wrap a measuring tape or piece of string around the thickest part of your finger. Read the measurement in millimeters — that’s your circumference. Choose one size up.

Gold-Plated Amethyst Ring

This Brazilian amethyst ring is size 16 and measures approximately 1 × 3 cm overall. A gold-plated band covers the front of the ring at the base of the crystals, leaving the crystal tips and the rest of the stone body exposed. The lavender crystals are large and sharply pointed, with several tips clearly projecting forward. As the ring turns, their flat faces catch the light in turn, while their translucent interiors glow. The body is made of stone, so the size cannot be adjusted. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we will ship.

About the stone

Amethyst forms in basalt geodes. Structurally, it is a variety of quartz, and its purple color comes from iron. This deep color has natural variations, and amethyst has been prized by jewelers since antiquity. Learn more in the article Amethyst — properties and history on our blog.

Care

Remove the ring for housework, gardening, and workouts, and put it on last, after applying cosmetics. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will re-plate the ring. The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
