Raw black tourmaline from Brazil, set in gold-plated silver. The crystal has an irregular shape and a ridged surface - under your finger, you can feel grooves running along the stone. Matte black beside gleaming gold plating - the contrast in textures is more pronounced here than the contrast in colors. On the 45 cm chain, the tourmaline hangs just below the collarbones; at 63 cm, it rests on the breastbone; at 83 cm, below the bust - the longer the chain, the more vertically it falls.
