Raw emerald from Brazil, uncut, set in gold-plated silver - the stone has retained its natural, angular shape and matte sides. The green is deep and cool; by the window, the crystal is translucent along the edges while remaining dark in the center. Cracks and inclusions inside are a normal feature of emeralds; clear, transparent stones are a rarity sold by the carat. On the 45 cm chain, it hangs just below the collarbones; choose 63 or 83 cm if you want it to sit lower.

About the stone
Emerald is the green variety of beryl, formed in pegmatites and metamorphic zones. It owes its saturated, cool color to traces of chromium and vanadium. Characteristic of these stones are internal inclusions, called “jardin” (garden) in French, which provide natural proof of their authenticity.
