About the stone
Onyx is an exceptionally hard, cryptocrystalline variety of chalcedony that forms in gas cavities in volcanic rocks, where silica is deposited layer by layer. This slow geological process, lasting millions of years, gives it its magnetic, uniform black depth, which does not allow light to pass through.
