Larimar necklace, 925 gold-plated silver
Larimar necklace; the stone in the pendant measures approximately 2.5 × 2.5 cm. The smoothly polished stone is set in a 925 gold-plated silver setting that holds it at the edges and extends into a bail at the top. Its almost square outline has rounded corners, and white streaks run through the pale blue. On one side, the color deepens into small, more intensely blue spots, with a few dark dots visible near the edge. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will send.

About the stone
Larimar can be pale blue or intensely blue, with its color blending into white and gray, and more rarely into a greenish hue. Its color comes from trace amounts of copper. It is opaque, and its dense, fibrous material can be polished to a smooth finish. It is a blue variety of pectolite from the wollastonite group.
Care
Take the necklace off before sleeping and working out, and put it on once your cosmetics have been absorbed. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is accepted, we will re-plate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
