Larimar necklace, 925 gold-plated silver
Larimar necklace; the stone in the pendant measures approximately 3.5 × 2 cm. The smoothly polished stone is set in 925 gold-plated silver, which holds it along the edge and extends at the top into a bail. A network of white lines crosses the light blue surface of the oval, dividing it into irregular sections. Closer to the edge, the blue lightens almost to white. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we will ship.

About the stone
Larimar ranges in color from pale to intense blue, with areas of white and gray, and more rarely a greenish hue. Its blue color comes from trace amounts of copper. The stone is opaque, and its compact, fibrous structure takes a good polish. It is a blue variety of pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic.
Care
Put the necklace on last, once your perfume and lotion have dried. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. The gold plating comes with a one-year warranty: if a claim is accepted, we will replate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later in our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
