Gold-Plated 925 Silver Necklace with Amber
The pendant on this necklace is an amber stone measuring approximately 1.5 × 1.5 cm. The smoothly polished stone is set in a gold-plated 925 silver setting that holds it at the edge and forms a bail at the top. The amber is bottle green on the right and at the bottom, fading to an almost black shade. Dense, light green and yellowish flakes cover the center of the round stone, and its convex surface gleams from edge to edge. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will send.

About the stone
Amber is fossilized tree resin that hardened tens of millions of years ago. In jewelry, it is considered an organic material. Resin that is over a million years old is called amber, while younger resin is called copal. The same name is used for more than a hundred types of fossil resin. Care
Put on your amber necklace after applying perfume and hairspray, and take it off before showering or sleeping. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing pastes. Keep jewelry away from alcohol, solvents, and prolonged, intense sunlight; a soft cloth lightly dampened with water is all you need for cleaning. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if your claim is approved, we will replate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The gold plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
