Raw Aquamarine Necklace, Gold-Plated
The pendant features a raw aquamarine from Brazil, measuring approximately 3.5 × 2.5 cm. At the top, a gold-plated setting is placed directly over the stone, with a bail for the chain, while the rest of the raw stone remains exposed. The aquamarine has a grayish-blue, slightly smoky hue and a matte, grainy surface flecked with lighter specks. The stone tapers to a sharp point at the bottom. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will send.

About the stone
Aquamarine crystallizes in granite pegmatites. Structurally, it is a variety of beryl containing iron. This iron gives it its color: an icy blue with a sea-green hue. Learn more in the article Aquamarine — properties on our blog.
Care
Remove the necklace before cleaning with household cleaning products, and put it back on after washing and drying your hands. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will replate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
