Gold-Plated Necklace with Raw Aquamarine
The pendant on this necklace is a raw aquamarine from Brazil, measuring approximately 3.5 × 2 cm. At the top, the stone is held by a gold-plated setting applied directly to it, with a bail for the chain, while the rest of the raw crystal remains exposed. The stone is a light, icy blue with milky streaks. Its elongated, column-like shape features fine parallel grooves running along it. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will send.

About the stone
Aquamarine is an icy blue with a hint of sea blue. This color comes from the iron present in aquamarine, a variety of beryl. This stone crystallizes in granite pegmatites. Learn more in the article Aquamarine — Properties on our blog.
Care
Take the pendant off at night and before exercising, and put it on only after your lotion and perfume have had time to absorb. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is accepted, we will re-plate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
