Teardrop Pyrite Earrings, Drop, Gold-Plated
This pair of drop stud earrings features two stones: raw pyrite from Peru, each measuring approximately 1.5 × 1.5 cm. Each piece of pyrite is held by a gold-plated claw setting, leaving the crystal-covered top exposed. The large, angular pyrite crystals have ridged faces, while the lower part of each stone transitions into fine gray grains. One crystal protrudes beyond the tip of the narrower teardrop. The stones shown in the photos are the exact ones we will send.

About the stone
Pyrite is known as “fool’s gold” because of its intense metallic luster. This mineral is iron sulfide with a cubic crystal structure, and its crystals form perfectly geometric shapes, including cubes and pyritohedra. The metallic sheen of these crystals is golden. Care
Remove the earrings before exercising and sleeping, and put them on after styling your hair. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. Remove pyrite jewelry before bathing or swimming. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will replate the earrings. The plating can also be refreshed later in our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
