Gold-Plated Rock Crystal Stud Earrings
Each stone in this pair of stud earrings is a rock crystal from Brazil, measuring approximately 1.5 × 1 cm. Gold-plated brass covers the base and back of the crystals, leaving their tips exposed. The elongated, column-shaped crystals cross to form a star in one earring, while in the other they lie parallel, side by side. Some have pointed ends on both sides. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will send. The stones in the pair differ in shape.

About the stone
The ancient Greeks believed that rock crystal was ice frozen for eternity. In reality, it is the purest variety of quartz, crystallizing at temperatures between 100 and 400°C, and its transparent crystals merely resemble ice. Find out more in the article Rock Crystal — Properties on our blog.
Care
Apply cream and perfume first, and put the crystal studs on last. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is accepted, we will replate the earrings. The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and timeframe. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
