About the stone

Smoky quartz is a variety of quartz, or silicon dioxide, whose characteristic coloring is caused by natural ionizing radiation. This process takes place in the Earth's crust over millions of years - the longer the mineral is exposed to radiation, the deeper and darker the brown color of the crystal becomes. The specimen presented here stands out for its natural crystalline structure and high degree of transparency, characteristic of pegmatite deposits of this mineral. Care

Simply wipe the smoky quartz formation with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth, avoiding strong detergents. Place the table on a level, stable surface.
