Pyrite from Peru in a tall, narrow formation: 10 cm high, 5 cm wide, and 3 cm deep, on a black stand - 14 cm in total. The crystals have sharp, geometric edges and a metallic golden sheen; light reflects off them in small points, like it does off crumpled foil. The specimen weighs 446 g and stands like a small, upright sculpture - the black stand is the only element that does not shine.
