Tiger’s eye ring, size 17
Tiger's Eye Ring
This smooth tiger's eye ring in size 17 features a solid form and a warm brown hue. The jewelry sits comfortably on the hand. A bright band is visible on the surface of the polished mineral, shifting position as the hand moves. This optical phenomenon creates a distinct contrast with the stone's dark background. The minimalist shape perfectly brings out the full depth of its natural color.

About the stone
Tiger's eye is a variety of quartz formed through the pseudomorphosis of fibrous crocidolite. The original fibers were replaced by silica while retaining their parallel arrangement. This microscopic structure is responsible for the cat's-eye effect, or chatoyancy—a distinctive band of light that shifts as the stone is rotated. The main deposits of this mineral are located in South Africa, Australia, and Brazil. Learn more in the article Tiger's Eye — Properties and History on our blog.
Care
Clean the tiger's eye ring with a damp, soft cloth without using strong detergents. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
