Stone Ring Sizes

Solid natural stone rings have a slightly wider band than classic rings — we recommend choosing one size larger for comfortable wear.

Sizes in the European scale (finger circumference):

  • 9 — 49 mm
  • 10 — 50 mm
  • 11 — 51 mm
  • 12 — 52 mm
  • 13 — 53 mm
  • 14 — 54 mm
  • 15 — 55 mm
  • 16 — 56 mm
  • 17 — 57 mm
  • 18 — 58 mm
  • 19 — 59 mm
  • 20 — 60 mm
  • 21 — 61 mm
  • 22 — 62 mm
  • 23 — 63 mm

How to measure? Wrap a tailor’s tape or string around your finger at the widest point. Read the millimeters — that’s your circumference. Choose one size larger.

Tiger's Eye Ring

Slip this size 16 ring onto your finger, made entirely from tiger's eye. The wide, smooth band has a warm brown hue with golden bands that shift across the surface with every movement of your hand. The lack of a metal setting highlights the mineral's raw character. The stone rests directly against the skin, providing a pleasant coolness. This natural contrast of colors and silky sheen intrigue in an understated way.

About the stone

Tiger's eye is a distinctive variety of quartz formed through pseudomorphosis after fibrous crocidolite. The original fibers of this mineral were replaced by silica while retaining their parallel arrangement. This microscopic structure is responsible for the cat's-eye effect, known as chatoyancy. The most important deposits of this opaque mineral with a silky sheen are found in South Africa, Australia, and Brazil. Learn more in the article Tiger's Eye — Properties and History on our blog.

Care

Clean tiger's eye with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid impacts against hard surfaces to prevent damage to the solid band. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
