Tiger's eye ring
This ring, carved from a single piece of tiger's eye and available in size 13, features a deep brown color interwoven with golden tones. About the stone
Tiger's eye is a variety of quartz formed through a pseudomorphosis process after fibrous crocidolite. The original fibers were replaced by silica while retaining their parallel arrangement. These microscopic, orderly structures are responsible for the cat's-eye effect, known as chatoyancy. The most significant deposits of this opaque mineral are found in South Africa, Australia, and Brazil. Learn more in the article Tiger's eye — properties and history on our blog.
Care
Wipe the tiger's eye ring with a soft, damp cloth, avoiding impacts against hard surfaces. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
