Tiger’s eye ring, size 13
Tiger’s Eye Ring
Slip this size 13 ring onto your finger to admire its brown color. The smooth band, carved from tiger’s eye, sits securely and offers a pleasant feeling of coolness. As it moves, a silky, bright streak appears across the saturated surface. This optical effect, known as chatoyancy, shifts depending on the angle of the light. The simple, setting-free design fully showcases the mineral’s striped patterns.

About the Stone
Tiger’s eye is a variety of quartz formed through a pseudomorphosis process after fibrous crocidolite. The mineral’s original fibers were replaced by silica while retaining their characteristic parallel arrangement. This structure is responsible for the stone’s distinctive, shimmering chatoyant effect after polishing. The most important deposits of this mineral are located in South Africa, Australia, and Brazil.
