Tourmaline ring on a wedding band
Tourmaline Ring on a Band
Try it with a black shirt: a gold-plated brass band and raw tourmaline from Brazil in black and gold tones - the stone's black and the band's gold in a single ring. The crystal has retained its natural, elongated striations; light moves across it softly, without sharp flashes. The band is adjustable, so it fits both the index and ring fingers, while its width holds the stone securely.

About the stone
Tourmaline is a mineral from the borosilicate group with a highly complex chemical composition. It crystallizes in pegmatites and metamorphic rocks, forming distinctive prisms with a vitreous luster and pronounced, elongated striations. It is one of the most color-diverse minerals on Earth. Some crystals exhibit zonal growth, meaning that a single specimen can gradually change shade along its length. Find out more in the article Tourmaline - properties, meaning and types on our blog.
Care
Avoid contact between the gold-plated brass and water or perfume, and wipe the tourmaline itself with a dry, soft cloth. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
