About the stone

Tourmalines belong to a group of borosilicates with a highly variable chemical composition. These crystals form mainly in pegmatites and metamorphic rocks, distinguished by their characteristic elongated striations. They have a glassy luster and the ability to form zoned, multicolored structures in which a single mineral crystal can gradually change color along its entire length.
