Raw emerald from Brazil in gold-plated silver - a crystal with a rich, cool green color and natural inclusions that create hazy patches and streaks when held up to the light. In the shade, the stone is dark and almost opaque; by the window, the green brightens from the edges toward the center. The gold plating on the setting stays in the background and does not distract from the stone. With the 45 cm chain, the pendant sits high, just below the collarbones; the longer 63 and 83 cm options fall over the breastbone and below.

About the stone
Emerald is the green variety of beryl, and its characteristic color is due to traces of chromium and vanadium. This mineral forms in pegmatites and metamorphic zones, with major deposits found in Colombia, Brazil, and Zambia, among other places. Its glassy luster complements its natural inclusions. Care
Avoid contact between the necklace and water or perfume to protect the gold plating. Clean the emerald only with a dry, soft cloth. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
