About the stone

Emerald is the green variety of beryl, whose characteristic color comes from traces of chromium and vanadium. This stone forms in pegmatites and metamorphic zones, with major deposits located in Brazil, Colombia, and Zambia. Emerald’s characteristic internal inclusions, known in French as “jardin” (garden), are a natural hallmark and evidence of the mineral’s authenticity.
