Agate Geode Slice Necklace
Agate Geode Slice Necklace
An agate geode slice in brown tones, set in gold-plated silver with an irregular outline. The outer crust is matte and rough, while the cross-section is polished; between them run layers ranging from light beige to dark brown, with tiny crystals nestled in the center that sparkle when the light hits them at an angle. On the 45 cm chain, the slice rests just below the collarbones; at 63 cm, it falls to the sternum; at 83 cm, below the bust.

About the stone
Agate is a variety of chalcedony that forms mainly in desert and volcanic rocks, filling empty spaces (geodes). It is characterized by concentric layers in multiple colors, creating intricate, unique patterns. Each geode cross-section has a different design, shaped by the cyclic deposition of silica. Because no two patterns repeat, no two pieces of this mineral are identical. Learn more in the article Agate - properties and varieties on our blog.
Care
Clean the smooth agate surface and gold-plated silver only with a dry, soft cloth, avoiding contact with water and perfume. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
