Gold-plated Necklace with Raw Pyrite
The stone in the pendant is raw pyrite from Peru, measuring approximately 2.5 × 2.5 cm. A gold-plated basket setting with prongs holds the pyrite, embracing its sides while leaving the crystal-covered top exposed. Its surface is made up of angular crystal plates set at various angles, like tiny shards of mirror. This makes the top low and fairly even, while the light-gold planes reflect the light in broad flashes. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will send.

About the Stone
Pyrite’s golden hue combines with a metallic sheen, and its crystals have a cubic structure. This iron sulfide crystallizes in perfectly geometric forms—as cubes or pentagonal dodecahedra. Care
Remove the necklace for housework involving detergents and before working out. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing pastes. Remove pyrite jewelry before bathing or swimming. The gold plating comes with a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will re-plate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later at our studio — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
