Larimar Necklace, Gold-Plated 925 Silver
The pendant on this necklace is a larimar stone measuring approximately 2.5 × 2 cm. The smoothly polished stone is set in a gold-plated 925 silver setting that holds it at the edges and extends into a bail at the top. A band of brown and olive veins runs diagonally across the pale gray-blue rectangle. In several places, the veins darken to an almost chocolate brown. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will send.

About the Stone
The name Larimar was coined by Miguel Méndez, who combined his daughter's nickname, “Lari,” with the Spanish word “mar,” meaning sea. It has been used in trade since 1975. The stone itself is a blue variety of pectolite, found only in the Dominican Republic, where it occurs in veins and cavities in altered basalt.
Care
Remove the necklace before sleeping or exercising, and put it on only after applying makeup. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is accepted, we will replate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
