Labradorite Necklace, 925 Sterling Silver
Labradorite necklace; the stone in the pendant measures approximately 3 × 1.5 cm. The smoothly polished stone, shimmering blue, is set in 925 sterling silver, which holds it around the edge and extends into a bail at the top. A blue glow spreads across the stone’s gray base, crossed by dense, parallel streaks running along the oval. Near the edges, the blue fades into a dark, greenish gray. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we’ll send you.

About the stone
Labradorite is a feldspar in the plagioclase series and forms in basic igneous rocks. It takes its name from the Labrador Peninsula, where it was first described. Its colorful flashes are known as labradorescence: the interference of light in thin layers inside the crystal. Care
Take off your necklace before removing your makeup in the evening, and put it on last in the morning, after applying your cosmetics. Silver darkens over time; you can wipe the setting with a silver polishing cloth, avoiding the stone. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
