Amethyst druzy heart from Brazil: crystalline interior exposed, smooth and darker edge, gold-plated silver setting. Tiny crystals inside refract light at different angles, so the heart sparkles in points — strongest in the sun, weakest in the shade, where it remains uniformly purple. The colour transitions from a saturated purple in the depths to the lighter tips of the crystals. A 45 cm chain or longer — 63 or 83 cm.

About the stone
Amethyst is silicon dioxide and the purple variety of quartz. It owes its distinctive color to iron impurities and the effects of natural radiation. This mineral, valued since ancient times, crystallizes in cavities within rocks, forming crystal clusters in basalt geodes. The characteristic tonal transitions from light lilac to deep purple are evidence of the gradual, years-long growth of the crystals. Care
