Gold-Plated Raw Aquamarine Necklace
The pendant on this necklace is a raw aquamarine from Brazil, measuring approximately 3 × 3 cm. At the top, a gold-plated setting is fitted directly onto the stone, with a bail for the chain, leaving the rest of the rough stone exposed. The surface forms stepped layers with sharp ridges, and the stone narrows toward the bottom. Its color is pale blue, with a gray tint and greenish traces in the indentations. The stone shown in the photos is the exact piece we will ship.

About the Stone
Mineralogically, aquamarine is a variety of beryl, and its crystals form in granite pegmatites. Its color comes from the iron in the stone, which gives it an icy blue hue with a marine tint. Learn more in the article Aquamarine — Properties on our blog.
Care
Remove the necklace before cleaning, swimming, or using the sauna, and put it back on after applying cosmetics. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing compounds. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will re-plate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The gold plating can also be refreshed later in our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
