Gold-Plated Necklace with Raw Aquamarine
The pendant features a raw aquamarine from Brazil, measuring approximately 5 × 2 cm. At the top, a gold-plated setting is fitted directly onto the stone and includes a loop for the chain, leaving the rest of the raw stone exposed. The elongated, narrow stone is gray-blue with a greenish hue. On its uneven surface, matte areas alternate with lighter facets that shimmer slightly. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will ship.

About the Stone
Aquamarine forms in granite pegmatites, where it crystallizes as a variety of beryl. The iron in its composition gives it an icy blue color with a sea-green hue. Learn more in the article Aquamarine — Properties on our blog.
Care
Take off the necklace before showering or exercising, and put it on only after your cosmetics have absorbed. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. The gold plating comes with a one-year warranty: if your claim is approved, we will re-plate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later in our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
