Gold-Plated Rock Crystal Drop Earrings
This pair of drop earrings features two Brazilian rock crystals, each measuring approximately 2.5 × 1.5 cm. Gold-plated brass wraps around the top of each crystal near the hook, leaving the rest exposed. The transparent points extend in different directions, and their smooth faces have a glassy sheen; as the earrings turn, flashes of light move from face to face. The stones shown in the photos are the exact ones we will ship. The stones in the pair differ in shape.

About the stone
According to the ancient Greeks, rock crystal was ice frozen forever. Geology tells a different story: it is the purest variety of quartz, which crystallizes at temperatures between 100 and 400°C and forms transparent crystals. Find out more in the article Rock Crystal — Properties on our blog.
Care
Apply perfume, cream and hairspray first, and put your earrings on last—that’s how to wear them every day. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing pastes. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is accepted, we will replate the earrings. The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop—our boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store them in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
