Gold-Plated Rock Crystal Stud Earrings
Each stone in this pair of stud earrings is a Brazilian rock crystal measuring approximately 1.5 × 1 cm. Gold-plated brass covers the base and back of the crystals, leaving their tips exposed. One stone tapers to a long, clear point, while the other has a rounded outline and a surface densely covered with tiny crystals. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will ship. The stones in the pair vary in shape.

About the stone
Rock crystal is the purest variety of quartz. It crystallizes at temperatures between 100 and 400°C, forming transparent crystals. The ancient Greeks thought this stone was ice that never melted. Learn more in the article Rock Crystal — Properties on our blog.
Care
Remove the studs in the evening before taking off your makeup and applying night cream. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing paste. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating comes with a one-year warranty: if your claim is accepted, we will replate the earrings. The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
