Gold-Plated Rock Crystal Stud Earrings
This pair of stud earrings features two stones — Brazilian rock crystal, each measuring approximately 1.5 × 1 cm. Gold-plated brass covers the base and back of the crystals, leaving their tips exposed. The forms are clusters of small, sharply pointed crystals. Each facet has its own sheen, making the stone sparkle with many tiny flashes of light. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will ship. The stones in the pair vary in shape.

About the stone
You can see right through rock crystal because it is transparent. It is the purest variety of quartz; it crystallizes at temperatures ranging from 100 to 400°C. The ancient Greeks believed it was ice that would never melt. Learn more in the article Rock Crystal — Properties on our blog.
Care
Take off your earrings when cleaning with detergents, working out, or going to the pool, then put them back on afterward. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing compounds. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if your claim is accepted, we will replate the earrings. The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store them in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
