Gold-Plated Rock Crystal Stud Earrings
Each stone in this pair of stud earrings is a rock crystal from Brazil, measuring approximately 1.5 × 1 cm. Gold-plated brass surrounds the base and back of the crystals, leaving their tips exposed. The center of one stone is covered with tiny white crystals, while two short points in the other are as clear as glass. The stone shown in the photos is the exact one we will send. The stones in the pair differ in shape.

About the stone
Rock crystal crystallizes at temperatures between 100 and 400°C. It is the purest variety of quartz, and its crystals are transparent. The ancient Greeks believed they were looking at ice that would never melt. Find out more in the article Rock Crystal — Properties on our blog.
Care
Put the studs in after applying cream and perfume, and remove them before showering and sleeping. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver-polishing cloth or polishing compounds. Clean the crystals with a dry, soft brush. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will re-plate the earrings. The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box.
