About the stone
Agate is a microcrystalline form of chalcedony that formed over millions of years in gas cavities within cooling volcanic lava. These particular specimens contain miniature geodes—natural cavities in which slowly growing quartz crystals formed a shimmering druzy texture with a unique pattern.
