Gift guideFor him · birthdays and holidays

A gift for a man is most likely to hit the mark if he’ll use it every day, like the stone bracelet from PLN 65 or the necklace made of matte tourmaline and lava chunks for PLN 299. For someone who doesn’t wear jewelry, give him the piece of kyanite on a stand for PLN 249; it takes up about as much space on a desk as a mug. The simplest way to choose is by what he already wears: a bracelet of small 6 mm beads to go with a watch, a second bracelet in a different color to go with one bracelet, and if he doesn’t wear bracelets, a necklace on a cord; if he doesn’t wear jewelry at all, an ore specimen for his desk. Elastic bracelets come in sizes S (16–17 cm), M (17–18 cm) and L (18–20 cm), and if you don’t know his wrist size, choose the labradorite bracelet on an adjustable cord for PLN 140.

The essentials in 30 seconds
  1. Six ideas from PLN 65 to PLN 299: four gemstone bracelets, a necklace on a cord, and an ore specimen for his desk, each with its price and size.
  2. He wears a watch: a bracelet made of 6 mm beads on elastic, with no clasp, in sizes S, M and L; our pick is malachite with black tourmaline. When you don’t know his wrist size, choose M (17–18 cm) or labradorite on an adjustable cord.
  3. He doesn’t wear jewelry or has everything: an ore specimen for his desk, such as a piece of kyanite from Brazil on a stand.
  4. For a last-minute gift: our boutique at 61 Grzybowska Street in Warsaw. We’ll gift-wrap it at no extra charge.

If we had to choose one thing blind, it would be the malachite and tourmaline bracelet. Among the black tourmaline beads, it has one splash of color: a green, striped malachite cylinder, so it goes with both a brown and a black watch strap. The beads are 6 mm, so they don’t overwhelm the wrist next to a steel watch case. It’s a design from our Warsaw studio: if you know his wrist circumference, enter it in the order comments and we’ll adjust the bracelet to that measurement.

How to choose the right gift for a man: by what he already wears

Take the color from his wardrobe: black and gray go with everything, while the warm brown of tiger’s eye looks best with jeans and a leather jacket.

6 gift ideas for a man

Everything on this list is made of stone, from bracelets and a necklace made in our workshop to a kyanite specimen from Brazil. Choose a gift for him by budget:

  • Budget up to PLN 70, for a colleague or cousin, for a small occasion: howlite with hematite.
  • Budget up to PLN 150, for your partner, brother, or friend, for a name day or anniversary: malachite with tourmaline, tiger’s eye, or labradorite on a cord.
  • Budget up to PLN 300, for your dad, boss, or someone who has everything: a tourmaline and lava necklace or a display specimen for a desk. For a boss, for example on Boss’s Day on October 16, a desk specimen is easier to give than jewelry.
01

He wears a watch: malachite and tourmaline, PLN 130

An elastic bracelet has no clasp that could catch on a watch bracelet or shirt cuff; you can wear it on the same wrist as your watch or on the other one. The malachite and tourmaline bracelet is also more delicate than the tiger’s eye one, whose 10 mm beads are immediately visible beneath a cuff. If he asks what it is made of: the black beads are tourmaline, usually schorl, and the green cylinder is malachite, a basic copper carbonate.

02

He likes muted colors: howlite and hematite, PLN 65

The least expensive idea is almost entirely white. The 6 mm howlite beads have thin gray veins forming an irregular web, so each one looks slightly different, while two dark gray, metallically shimmering hematite arrows sit between them. If he already wears a dark bracelet, howlite with hematite will be a second bracelet in a different color and won’t blend in with the first.

03

He likes warm colors: tiger’s eye with chunks of tourmaline, PLN 130

The golden-brown tiger's eye beads are 10 mm here, interspersed with rough black tourmaline chips. As the hand moves, a bright band slides across the beads: according to the GIA, this is light reflected from fibers enclosed in the quartz, while iron oxides produce the golden color. Order the tiger's eye and tourmaline chips bracelet in size S, M, or L.

04

You don't know your wrist circumference: labradorite on a cord, PLN 140

You don't choose a size here. Labradorite chips are woven into a gray-blue cord with a braided sliding knot and two loose ends that you use to tighten or loosen the circumference. When you turn your hand in the light, the labradorite flashes blue or pale green; this is known as labradorescence. It is best seen in the photo of the labradorite cord bracelet worn on a hand.

05

He doesn't wear bracelets: tourmaline and lava necklace, PLN 299

If a bracelet gets in his way at the keyboard or while working with his hands, there's always his neck: in this necklace, black tourmaline chips are interwoven with 6 mm lava beads. The chips are matte, so from a distance the necklace looks like a string of dark pebbles. Lava has pores because, as it solidified, it trapped gas bubbles inside. The tourmaline and lava necklace is strung on an adjustable cord, measures approximately 55 cm, and in the product photo lies just below the T-shirt neckline.

06

He doesn't wear jewelry or has it all: kyanite on a stand, PLN 249

Blue, flat crystal blades run along the specimen, intertwining with gray fragments at the top, while in the sunlight the blue breaks into lighter and darker bands. This specimen from Brazil weighs 425 g and stands on a black metal stand, reaching 14 cm in height. Each specimen is unique and has its own number; this one is kyanite No. 248, while other mineral specimens for your desk can be found in the collection arranged from the least expensive.

If none of the six suit his style, browse all men’s bracelets made with natural stones or the entire men’s jewelry collection, including necklaces.

What should you buy for a man who has everything?

A good gift for a man who has everything is a mineral specimen, such as kyanite on a stand: a single piece with a number instead of yet another gadget. For something to wear, choose a chunk bracelet in which the stones vary in shape and shade: labradorite on a cord or tiger’s eye with raw tourmaline.

Someone who has everything usually receives a second wallet or a third travel mug. A mineral specimen can be displayed, and its card includes five photos, dimensions, and weight, so you don’t have to guess either his size or his taste in jewelry.

Interesting fact

Kyanite has two hardnesses: along the crystal, it can be scratched with a knife, but across it, it cannot. Mineral lexicons link this property to its second name, disthene, given to it in 1801 by the French mineralogist René-Just Haüy, from the Greek words “dis” (twice) and “sthenos” (strength). The name kyanite itself comes from the Greek “kyanos,” meaning dark blue.

Gift for dad: a bracelet without a clasp

For the holidays, buy your dad, who doesn’t like fiddly clasps, an elastic bracelet, such as the most affordable howlite and hematite bracelet. It has neither a lobster clasp nor a snap clasp, so it can be put on with one hand, over the hand. The tourmaline and lava necklace is adjusted with a sliding knot on a cord, so there’s no need to grasp a small clasp at the nape of the neck. He should take the bracelet off before showering and washing dishes, because a wet elastic cord loses its elasticity faster; we describe the care rules for every stone in our guide on how to clean natural stone jewelry.

Gift for a mature man: black, white, and gray

For a 55-year-old man who mainly wears black, white, and gray, choose a stone in these colors or one with a pronounced texture: matte black tourmaline chunks in a lava necklace. White and gray howlite with hematite looks elegant with a blazer and sweater, while hematite echoes the shine of a steel watch bracelet. If he values desk items more than jewelry, buy kyanite on a stand.

Size, when you can’t ask him

According to the size charts on the product pages, S, M and L correspond to wrist circumferences of 16–17, 17–18 and 18–20 cm, respectively, while the labradorite necklace on a cord and the necklace are adjustable without choosing a size. Discreetly measure the strap of his watch from the center using thread or a tailor's tape measure, fastened through the hole he uses; the result may be slightly larger than his wrist circumference. If it falls exactly on the boundary between two sizes, for example 17 or 18 cm, choose the smaller one. If there is nothing to measure, choose M, because the median wrist circumference of 4,082 men in the U.S. Army was 17.6 cm in the ANSUR II study; for a clearly slender wrist, S will be a better fit.

Do not choose a size “just in case”, because a bracelet on an elastic cord that is too loose can slip off his hand. Do not measure his bracelet flat with a ruler: it will come out longer than his wrist because the beads add thickness. We show how to measure with a thread step by step in the guide on how to choose a bracelet size, and you should select the size according to the ranges on the bracelet's product page.

Gift for a husband and boyfriend

If you are buying for a husband whose wrist size you know, you will find more ideas, along with sizes, in the “Gift for a Husband” guide. For a boyfriend, with a budget of up to PLN 100, the less expensive models with lava, hematite and tiger's eye alone from the Boyfriend's Day guide are a good choice.

Frequently asked questions

What are some gift ideas for a man?

A stone bracelet to wear with a watch, a necklace on a cord or, for someone who does not wear jewelry, a mineral specimen for his desk. The least expensive of the six is the howlite and hematite bracelet for PLN 65, while the most expensive is the tourmaline and lava necklace for PLN 299.

What gifts do men enjoy?

Choose something practical - something he will use every day and that matches what he already wears. The easiest way to choose a color is to take it from his watch: black tourmaline for a black dial and steel case, for example in a malachite and tourmaline bracelet, while a brown strap also pairs well with warm tiger's eye.

What gift should you give a man for his birthday?

A bracelet in his size or a necklace on a cord, since he will keep them with him. For a milestone birthday, when he does not wear jewelry, a mineral specimen that can stay on his desk will work better. For a larger gift, combine two pieces in the same colors, for example a tourmaline and lava necklace with a malachite and black tourmaline bracelet, for a total of PLN 429.

What to buy a man for Christmas?

The simplest option is a stone bracelet he can put on as soon as he unwraps it. If you're buying gifts for several men in the family for Christmas, give each of them a different one, such as malachite with tourmaline, tiger's eye with tourmaline chunks, or howlite with hematite; each comes in sizes S, M, and L. We have collected ideas for the women in your family, including bracelets for which you don't need to know the size, in the article gift for a woman.

How we checked this. Prices, variants, and availability come from product pages reviewed on October 12, 2026, while the appearance of the bracelets, necklace, and kyanite is described based on photos on those pages. We checked demand using Google Ads data: approximately 301,000 searches for the phrase “gift for a man” in December 2025 (Google Ads estimate, DataForSEO data from October 12, 2026). We report men's wrist circumference based on the ANSUR II report (the U.S. Army research center in Natick, 2014). Information about tiger's eye comes from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), schorl from GIA and Wikipedia, kyanite from mindat.org, Wikipedia, and the edelsteine.at lexicon, malachite, howlite, labradorite, and lava pores from Wikipedia, while the date of Boss's Day is confirmed by the kalbi.pl calendar. Measuring against a watch strap and choosing the smaller size when between sizes are our recommendations.
