A polite “thank you,” a courteous smile, and you already know the box will end up in a drawer. According to our tongue-in-cheek list, this happens most often with four zodiac signs: Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Aquarius. How do you pick the right holiday gift? For each sign, we have a “don’t buy” and “this will hit the mark” list, plus four zodiac bracelets to start with, each for 150 zł.
Virgo Zodiac Clasp Bracelet150 zł
Scorpio Zodiac Clasp Bracelet150 zł
Capricorn Zodiac Clasp Bracelet150 zł
Aquarius Zodiac Clasp Bracelet150 zł
All four have light, peach-colored stones, with the sign’s colored stones in the center. Adjust the length using the chain by the clasp, and the sterling silver and gold-plated sterling silver versions cost the same.
- When you ask “What would you like?” you hear “Nothing.” And you know that “nothing” doesn’t mean nothing at all.
- You saw last year’s gift just once afterward: in a drawer while looking for batteries.
- Before you buy something, they already have it. Usually, a better version.
If at least two of these statements fit the person, they’re a tough case: check their sign.
Virgo (August 23–September 22): notices every detail
Virgo notices crookedly stuck tape, a price tag you didn’t remove, and that you bought the gift on your way to dinner. They won’t say anything, but they’ll remember it for a long time.
What not to buy: A gift set from the checkout shelf or anything “just in case.” Virgo will spot a thoughtless gift before even unwrapping it.
What will hit the mark: A small, well-made item for everyday wear. Ideally, with a detail you only notice up close.
Stones: For the Virgo bracelet, we chose labradorite, amazonite, and amethyst. Virgos are bound to check, so let’s say it up front: our zodiac stone chart lists other stones for Virgo: carnelian, sodalite, and citrine, because zodiac stone lists vary by source. W astrology, Virgo is an earth sign ruled by Mercury.
A Virgo who doesn’t like clasps will get the same three stones in an elastic bracelet for 130 zł. It comes in three sizes: S, M and L.
Scorpio (23.10–21.11): won’t forgive a cliché
Scorpios celebrate their birthdays right now, as their sign lasts until November 21. They can spot a hastily bought gift from the doorstep. And they’ll remember it for years, like everything else.
What not to buy: a mug that says “Don’t annoy a Scorpio” and a “scent of mystery” candle. Scorpios hate being summed up in a single phrase.
What will hit the mark: something with character, in dark, deep colors, with a story you can tell around the table.
Stones: the Scorpio bracelet features black tourmaline, garnet and labradorite. Garnet is Scorpio’s stone on an old Spanish list, cited in 1913 by American mineralogist George Frederick Kunz. Our zodiac chart lists black tourmaline. We explain why the lists differ in our article about the stone for Scorpio.
A Scorpio who wears only black will get a bracelet made entirely of black tourmaline for 160 zł. It has 3 mm faceted stones, is 14 cm long, and has a 3 cm extender.
Capricorn (Dec 22–Jan 19): quality matters
Capricorn’s birthday falls around the holidays, and ever since childhood they’ve heard: “This is for your birthday and under the Christmas tree.” They don’t complain, but remember every time.
What not to buy: One gift “for both occasions” or a gadget that will disappear into a cupboard after New Year. Capricorn divides the price by the number of uses, and knows the result straight away.
What will hit the mark: Two separate gifts or one that will last for years. The materials and craftsmanship matter.
Stones: The Capricorn bracelet features smoky quartz, garnet, and ruby. Kunz’s row-based list names ruby as Capricorn’s stone, while our zodiac chart names garnet. The bracelet is 14 cm long, with a 4 cm chain for adjustment. The metal parts are made of 925 sterling silver, and the gold-plated version is coated with 24-karat gold.
For a second gift, the one to put under the Christmas tree, choose the garnet ring for 79 zł. It’s the same stone as in the bracelet, faceted and strung on elastic, and comes in three sizes.

Aquarius (Jan 20–Feb 18): hates the obvious
Aquarius does everything their own way. They’re the last to hear about what’s fashionable because they simply don’t care. A gift “that everyone has” will strike them as unimaginative.
What not to buy: Anything from a “season’s hottest picks” list or a gift card for a chain store. Aquarius prefers something half the office doesn’t have.
What will hit the mark: An unexpected color combination in something that’s easy to wear every day.
Stones: The main stone in the Aquarius bracelet is purple amethyst, flanked by two other stones: one light blue and one dark, with a sea-like hue. In Kunz’s old Spanish list, amethyst belongs to Aquarius, and our zodiac chart assigns it to this sign too. The row-based list gives Aquarius garnet instead, so this sign, which likes to disagree with everyone, has two stones to choose from.
An Aquarius who doesn’t wear bracelets will love the Aquarius necklace for PLN 220. Faceted stones are strung on a cord with a lobster clasp and extender.
Don’t know his sign? There are two options
First: ask for their date of birth in a situation that won’t give anything away, for example while planning a weekend together. The dates and stones for all twelve signs are in our zodiac sign stone chart.
Second: a store gift card. The recipient can then choose a bracelet for their sign from our Zodiac Signs collection.
For St. Nicholas Day, order by Monday, November 30. If you’d rather choose in person, call the boutique on Grzybowska Street in Warsaw before your visit: we’ll check whether the bracelet for that sign is in stock and set it aside for you.

How we checked. We put together the list of the most difficult signs ourselves. Prices, stones, lengths, and materials come from the descriptions of the bracelets, necklace, and ring in our store, checked on Saturday, October 31, 2026, and we describe the stones’ colors based on the photos. We give the zodiac dates according to our chart; for birthdays on the cusp, the exact sign depends on the year and time of birth. Historical lists of stones come from George Frederick Kunz’s book “The Curious Lore of Precious Stones” (1913). We treat the zodiac and stones as tradition and fun, not as a promise of results.
