In 2026, the Sun enters the sign of Scorpio on Friday, October 23 at 11:38 and leaves it on Sunday, November 22 at 8:23. There is no single stone for Scorpio, as the lists differ. Garnet is mentioned most often, while our zodiac chart lists black tourmaline, malachite, and obsidian. The Scorpio Zodiac Bracelet for 79 PLN features garnet and black tourmaline, and we chose labradorite to go with them.
- Scorpio 2026: from Friday, October 23, 11:38, to Sunday, November 22, 8:23, Polish time.
- The dates depend on the year: from 1940 onward, Scorpio began on October 23 or 24 and ended on November 21, 22, or 23.
- Stones: garnet is Scorpio's stone on an old Spanish list cited in 1913 by American mineralogist George Frederick Kunz. It is also often listed in Polish guides among the top Google results. Our chart lists obsidian, malachite, and black tourmaline.
- Gifts: three bracelets and two necklaces from 79 to 250 PLN. Of these five, only the silver necklace for 190 PLN has a ♏ sign pendant.
Scorpio 2026: October 23, 11:38 to November 22, 8:23
The sign of Scorpio begins when the Sun reaches 210 degrees on the ecliptic, its annual path across the sky, and ends at 240 degrees. The times of both transitions are provided by the JPL Horizons ephemeris (NASA).
Daylight saving time is still in effect on Friday, as clocks are turned back on the night of October 24 to 25. November's time is already standard time.
5 gifts for Scorpios from 79 to 250 PLN
79 PLN: black tourmaline, garnet, and labradorite
The stones in the Scorpio Zodiac Bracelet are about 3 mm. The circumference is adjustable with a macramé closure, and the balls are silver or gold-plated at the same price.
79 PLN: malachite from our chart
Malachite is the only green stone in this selection. In the Happiness Bracelet, it is faceted, approx. 4 mm, and strung on a khaki-colored cord with an adjustable macramé closure and beads, so there is no need to choose a size.
120 PLN: a bracelet made entirely of black tourmaline
The bracelet made entirely of black tourmaline has larger stones, approx. 6 mm, faceted and strung on elastic jewelry cord. It comes in three sizes: S (13–14 cm), M (15–16 cm), and L (17–18 cm), in silver or gold-plated silver. See how to measure your wrist in our bracelet sizing guide.
190 PLN: the only gift with the ♏ sign
The Scorpio Zodiac Necklace has a 1.8 cm round pendant featuring the ♏ sign, on a 42 cm chain with a 3 cm extender. It is currently available in silver only. Find it with the Zodiac Bracelet in the Zodiac Signs collection.
250 PLN: black tourmaline necklace
Here, the black tourmaline is smaller than in the 120 PLN bracelet, faceted and strung on jewelry wire with a lobster clasp. The necklace is approx. 40 cm long, with a 5 cm extender. You can enter a different length in the order notes. The photos in the shop show the gold-plated version.
Born October 23–24 or November 21–23: Libra, Scorpio, or Sagittarius?
It depends on the year, and right at the boundary, also on the time of birth. Tables give fixed dates, ours runs from October 23 to November 21, but the Sun crosses the boundary at a different time each year: roughly six hours later than the previous year, and in a leap year, a dozen or so hours earlier. Since 1988, Scorpio has always begun on October 23, but in earlier years it sometimes began on October 24.
A few examples from ephemerides, in Polish time:
- in 1983, Scorpio began on October 24 at 0:54, so those born on October 23, 1983 are Libras;
- in 2010, the boundary fell on October 23 at 14:35, so those born that day before 14:35 are Libras, and those born later are Scorpios;
- in 1971, Scorpio lasted until November 23, until 0:14, so those born on November 22, 1971 are still Scorpios;
- in 2024, it ended on November 21 at 20:57, so those born that day after 20:57 are already Sagittarius.
If your birthday falls on one of these days, ask about the year and time of birth.
In Kunz’s 1913 book, Libra lasts until October 23, and Scorpio begins on the same day and lasts until November 21, the day Sagittarius begins.
Stone for Scorpio: what tradition says and why the lists differ
Even in one of Kunz’s books, Scorpio gets beryl from the verse list and garnet from the old Spanish list. On the verse list, garnet belongs to Aquarius.
| Source | Stone |
|---|---|
| Kunz, verse list | beryl |
| Kunz, Spanish list | garnet |
| our zodiac sign table | obsidian, malachite, black tourmaline |
| our Zodiac bracelet | black tourmaline, garnet, labradorite |
| GIA, October | opal, tourmaline |
| GIA, November | topaz, citrine |
According to Kunz, the old Spanish list probably reflects the Arabic tradition. In mineralogy, black tourmaline is usually schorl. We chose the stones for the Zodiac bracelet ourselves. GIA lists birthstones by month, not by zodiac sign.
In Polish guides among the top Google results, amethyst appears just as often as garnet. However, neither Kunz’s zodiac lists nor our table assign it to Scorpio: on the verse list amethyst belongs to Pisces, on the Spanish list to Aquarius, and in our table to Aries, Sagittarius, Aquarius, and Pisces.
Garnet from the Spanish list and black tourmaline from our table are both featured in the Scorpio Zodiac bracelet. You'll find the full table for all twelve signs in our article about stones for zodiac signs, and more stones associated with Scorpio in a separate collection.

How we verified this. We read the moments when the Sun passes through 210° and 240° of ecliptic longitude from JPL Horizons ephemerides (NASA) for 1940–2026 and converted them to Polish time using the IANA time zone database. The 2026 clock change date is set by the regulation of the Prime Minister of 4 March 2022. Stone lists: George Frederick Kunz, “The Curious Lore of Precious Stones” (1913, Project Gutenberg No. 57978), the GIA birthstone list, and our zodiac sign table. Garnet and amethyst appeared in the titles or descriptions of 5 of the first 10 Google results on a phone (2 October 2026), while tourmaline, malachite, and obsidian appeared in 4 of 10. Prices, materials, and sizes are from product pages dated 21 October 2026.
