Raw Pyrite on a Stand No. 254
Raw Pyrite on Stand No. 254
Place this pyrite on your desk or shelf to add character to your interior. The 12-centimeter-high piece with its stand presents a natural form measuring five centimeters on each side. Light refracts across its sharp, geometric edges, bringing out a cool, metallic golden glow. The dark metal base creates a striking contrast with the mineral. The piece’s raw structure makes a stable display in a modern space.

About the stone
Pyrite is an iron sulfide that naturally crystallizes into geometric, cubic forms, most commonly cubes and pentagonal dodecahedra. It is characterized by a distinct metallic luster and a brass-yellow color, which is why it was historically called “fool’s gold.” As a common mineral, it forms through hydrothermal processes and in sedimentary rocks, with major deposits worldwide found in countries including Spain, Peru, and Italy. Care
Due to its high iron content, avoid exposing pyrite to water and moisture. Clean it only with a dry, soft cloth. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
