About the stone
Trollite is a rare aluminum phosphate that forms in pegmatites and phosphorus-rich metamorphic rocks. The gemstone material presented here comes from the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. In terms of its mineralogical structure, it is an intergrowth of trollite with quartz, lazulite, and scorzalite. It is this interplay of several minerals within a single piece that gives it its characteristic, cool-toned, marbled blue color.
Care
Clean the gold-plated silver and trollite only with a dry, soft cloth, avoiding contact with water and detergents. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
