A raw emerald from Brazil, set in gold-plated silver. The stone is translucent: its green color is rich and cool, while backlighting reveals internal inclusions that scatter the rays and give the stone a soft inner glow instead of sharp reflections. The form is irregular, with natural edges. The setting's warm gold plating contrasts with the cool green. Chain length: 45 cm; 63 and 83 cm for a lower drop.

About the stone
Emerald is the green variety of beryl, whose distinctive color is caused by traces of chromium and vanadium. This glassy-lustrous mineral forms mainly in pegmatites and metamorphic zones. The world's main deposits are located in Colombia, Brazil, and Zambia. A characteristic feature of emeralds is their internal inclusions, known in French as “jardin” (garden), which are natural proof of the stone's authenticity. Care
