About the stone
Agate is a multicolored, banded variety of chalcedony that forms mainly in cavities within volcanic rocks and desert environments. Silica-rich solutions gradually seeped through and crystallized, creating its characteristic concentric layers. Each geode slice features a unique arrangement of lines and intensity of brown hues.
