A cross-section of an agate geode from Brazil - brown, concentric chalcedony rings around a crystalline center, with a natural, unpolished edge - set in gold-plated silver. The slice surface is polished and reflects daylight with a matte finish; the edge remains rough. The pendant is flat, so it rests smoothly on fabric and does not twist. Choose from three chain lengths: 45 cm (with 3 cm of adjustment), 63 cm, and 83 cm.

About the stone
Agate is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of silica that forms in cavities within volcanic rocks and desert environments. It is characterized by concentric layers in multiple colors, creating unique, banded patterns. Each geode cross-section reveals a different, hypnotic design, so no two pieces of this mineral are identical.
