It occurs in cavities and veins in altered basalt in the mountains above the village of Baoruco, in the Dominican province of Barahona, and is not known to occur outside the Dominican Republic. It has a compact, fibrous structure and takes a good polish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"productopis420__care420\"\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCare\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTake off the necklace before removing your makeup in the evening, and put it on in the morning only after applying moisturizer and perfume. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth, without using a silver polishing cloth or polishing compounds. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will replate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later in our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time.
