In terms of composition, it is a blue variety of pectolite, a mineral in the wollastonite group, and its blue color comes from trace amounts of copper. Clean the gold-plated surface with a soft cloth; do not use a silver polishing cloth or polishing compounds. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is accepted, we will re-plate the pendant (the chain is not covered by the warranty). The plating can also be refreshed later in our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time.
